Contact functions to facilitate meeting with the taxi
In the GO App, you can use the following two functions to ensure a smooth meeting with the taxi.
1. Sending fixed message
2. App call function
* Message sending is not available for GO ECONOMY.
Only phone calls (incoming) from the driver are available.
1. Sending fixed message
Once the taxi for your pickup is confirmed, you can tap the [Message/Call] button to send the following fixed phrases to the driver.
List of messages that can be sent
- I'm on my way now
- I'm on the opposite side of the street. Please come to this side
- I don't see the taxi
- I got it
- I can't answer the phone right now
- Please call me
🔑Key Points
* Please use this when the taxi has arrived at the pickup location but you cannot find it, etc.
* Slide to the right on [Select message] to display other fixed phrases.
2. App call function
If you are unable to meet even after sending a fixed phrase, it is possible to have a direct conversation by receiving a call from the driver. Please send the "Please call me" message and wait for an incoming call. Please be aware in advance that a call is not guaranteed and that some drivers may only speak Japanese.
Terms of use for the call function:
Allow access to the microphone on your smartphone
Allow receiving calls from the driver in the app settings
* The call function is not available for the app downloaded from the App Store in China
Hints for use:
The estimated time to meet is within 5 minutes after the taxi arrives.
Please note that a cancellation fee may occur even if you are unable to meet, so we recommend contacting the driver as soon as possible.
